Data Collection: Perform/Collect Sub-Soil Investigation and Topographical Survey of the building premises.
• As Built Drawing: Prepare Architectural and Structural as-built drawing showing the structural, and non-structural elements at all levels. • Visual Inspection: a. Identification of causes of any physical distress, dampness or any other deficiency and suggest remedial measures. b. Identification of any overloading, presence of water tanks & study their effect on the structure and suggest intermediate measures. • Field Test: a. Perform Ferro-scanning in beam, column, and slab to confirm the as-built reinforcement conditions. b. Excavation of foundation soil and physical measurement of foundation. c. Conduct a tensile strength test of rebar to assess the grade of rebar. d. Perform Core test of concrete by taking a minimum 04nos cores to assess the compressive strength of concrete. e. Strip Cutting of column to confirm the ferro-scanning result. • Design-Check: a. Prepare structural model as per as‐built condition using appropriate ETABS/Staad Pro Software by following the standard practice and applicable building codes. b. Check structural member’s adequacy c. Lateral stability check of structural frame d. Prepare Detailed Engineering Assessments (DEA) Report e. Make recommendations based on results of analysis including Restriction of loading, restriction on vertical extension etc. • Design-Check: Proposed retrofitting design drawing (If required). • Field Erection : Retrofitting of Sub-Structure & Super-Structure as per Approved Design & Drawing.
